Polo Monleón (D.O. Valencia)

In 1952 Manuel Polo Aguilar founded in Titaguas the first winery in the Alto Turia zone where the predominant grape variety is the Merseguera. The climat of this area gives the wines special qualities which produce unique white wines.

Some years later, his son Manuel Polo Monleón inherited the winery and in 1988 started bottling the white wine calling it HOYA DEL CASTILLO. Seven years later he started bottling the rosé and red wines.

50 years after the founding of this winery, a new company, BODEGAS POLO MONLEÓN, was created by the family and a new winery was built with the most sophisticated technologies and best working conditions but, above all, maintaining the best quality wines. The new winery started working for the harvest in 2005.
