We put the emphasis on a careful and methodical production of the best grapes so as to produce excellent wines, endowed with character, body and flavour and which are the result of the knowledge of our land that is full of life, taste and textures.

As a family-owned business willing to open new farmlands, back in 1985 we were pioneers in planting foreign grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which were little known in the Somontano area. Little by little new varieties where added, like Syrah and Tempranillo. Recently, we have incorporated the red Garnacha, always looking for the best orientation and way of cultivation in order to obtain grapes of the maximum quality. Nowadays, we have a total of 28 hectares planted.

In 2004 we decided to start bottling our own wines at the same time that a new generation of the family started working at the winery. In fact, the name “Aldahara” comes from some syllables of the names of Alejandro and David Raso, the owners’ sons. Furthermore, Aldahara is also an Arabic name with a lot of history behind.

From the 2004 harvest, the first young wines addressed to people in search of a very fruity aromatic young wine were born. At present, the winery counts with Crianza, Single-varietal and Reserva wines.
